# Codex Cloud collection (beta)

Canonical: https://hypaware.ai/docs/cli-reference/codex-cloud-collection-beta

In attended setup, Codex Cloud is a separate row included in Record everything
when Codex is detected on first setup. ChatGPT Work bundles web and mobile and
requires Customize. Both are independent of local Codex recording.

Provided by `@hypaware/codex-cloud`; requires the installed Codex CLI and an existing
file-backed ChatGPT login. The desktop app is optional. The default origin is `codex_cloud`. `--origins` independently selects any
combination of `codex_cloud`, `codex_work_web`, and `codex_work_mobile`.
Delegated Work and unknown origins are excluded.

```sh
hyp codex-cloud connect --all [--from-now] [--origins <origin,...>]
hyp codex-cloud connect <thread-id> [thread-id...] [--origins <origin,...>]
hyp codex-cloud status
hyp backfill codex-cloud --dry-run --json
hyp backfill codex-cloud --json
hyp codex-cloud disconnect
```

`connect` replaces the local account-bound grant. `--all` enables discovery;
explicit selection permits 1-20 unique IDs. `--from-now` excludes older activity.
Otherwise the existing history window applies. Connection does not import
immediately; an active daemon sweeps every five minutes. Imported records follow
existing export settings. `status` prints the grant scope without credentials.
`disconnect` stops future imports without deleting previous records.

This integration is in beta: the hosted interface may change. Keyring and API-key logins
are unsupported. See [requirements, limits and troubleshooting](https://hypaware.ai/docs/integrations/codex-cloud/index.md).
